Dining for Japan

TORONTO—A group of top chefs will cook on March 27 to raise money for a Japanese Relief Fund to help the county cope with recent natural disasters.

Cocktails and horsd’oeuvres will be followed by a five-course sit-down dinner at Böhmer Restaurant, 93 Ossington Ave.

There will also be a silent auction.

The cost is $250 a person, plus taxes and gratuity.

All money raised will go to the fund.

The chefs cooking the dinner are:

• Paul Boehmer, Böhmer

• Adam Colquhoun, Oyster Boy

• John Higgins, George Brown Chef School

• Daisuke Izutsu, Kaiseki Sakura

• Jamie Kennedy, Gilead Cafe & Bistro

• Chris Mcdonald, Cava Restaurant

• Anthony Rose, The Drake Hotel

• Anthony Walsh, Canoe

• Hiro Yoshida, Hiro Sushi

• Michael Stadtländer, Eigensinn Farm/Haisai.

Creemore and Sapporo Beers will be poured, as well as Ontario wine from Grange Winery, Henry Of Pelham Estate Winery, Norman Hardie Winery, Ravine Vineyards, Southbrook Winery, Stratus Winery, Tawse Winery, 13th Street Winery and Ziraldo.
