Earls has an eastern outpost now

MISSISSAUGA—Earls Restaurants’ long-awaited expansion into Ontario begins March 26.

The Vancouver-based casual dining chain confirmed to ORN last month that a brand-new Earls will open at Mississauga’s Square One Shopping Centre.

As of press time, a two-person team composed of an operations manager and a regional chef were on site in Mississauga, preparing the operation for its April grand opening.

“It’s not going that badly,” Scott Rolfson, the chain’s regional chef in Ontario told ORN when reached by telephone last month.

Founded in Vancouver in 1982, Earls is one of Western Canada’s largest casual dining concepts, with 53 locations throughout Western Canada, Arizona and Colorado.
